Nokia 6, an Android smartphone that marks the return of a legendary brand – 01net.com

It’s been months that we talk about the return of Nokia in the mobile market but this time, there it is. HMD Global has finally unveiled the details of the Nokia 6 that marks this return.

” The Nokia 6 is the first stage of the ambition of the brand to set a new standard in the design, quality materials and innovation to manufacture smartphones, based on the characteristics of a true experience of Nokia phone “, said the Finnish company.

This (almost) first Android-powered smartphone -if one omits the disastrous Nokia X – gets a design rather successful with a body unibody aluminum and slightly rounded edges.

Behind its Full HD screen of 5.5 inches, we find a Snapdragon cpu 430 with 4 Gb ram. The device offers 64 Gb of storage space, two photo sensors 16 and 8 Mpix, fingerprint reader, and a battery of 3,000 mAh. As for the audio part, it includes two amplifiers and is certified for Dolby Atmos. The device runs on Android 7.0.

The Nokia 6 will be available from the beginning of the year 2017, said the brand without giving more details. But this smartphone will be marketed for the time being, in China, on the website jd.com at a price of 1 699 yuan (about 233 euros). It is not known if there will come a day up to the Old Continent.
