The CNIL will merge with Cada in a new entity that will symbolize the convergence paper – Digital and should appear next year.
The government is considering ways to merge the IT National Committee and Freedom (CNIL) and the Commission of access to administrative documents (Cada). The information revealed by Le Parisien was confirmed by the office of Figaro Axelle Lemaire.
These two organizations should therefore merge next year to give birth to a new structure whose name does has not yet been chosen. The merger will be integrated into the digital law carried by Axelle Lemaire and whose passage in the National Assembly is expected in January 2016. A law which should lead to the creation of a public service given in which the different administrations would be required to disclose all information requested by citizens. The creation of an independent administrative authority that will promote convergence between digital and paper.
