Windows 10 unleashed passions since its launch and the trend is clearly not ready to be reversed. Proof of this is Microsoft just make an announcement … explosive. The firm has the intention to get rid of the control panel in a future version of the system. What for ? . Because it is duplicated with the parameters
This is not a revelation, but today there are two ways to customize the system, its interface and functions through the settings or s’ press the Control Panel.
Why have kept the two tools? Simply because they do not offer the same tools.
Control Panel is for more advanced users and system administrators. It proposes modules not found in settings which allow more information on configuring the machine and its services.
This is also what Microsoft has pushed to keep the latest version of its operating system.
But then, everything will change in the weeks or months ahead. The publisher has the intention to rid Control Panel. Definitely.
Needless to say, but this decision has triggered a real public outcry on the internets. Some have even create support groups (psychological?) On Facebook and other threats squarely to manifest before the various branches of the firm.
However, it is still early to exit forks and torches. Microsoft has made it clear that he had not ignore on advanced control panel functions. In fact, its developers are working hard to integrate … the settings.
How? Nobody knows yet but the company has no interest to crash on this one. The strength parameters is their accessibility. It is not necessary to be an engineer to find the options you need. Now, with more pro modules, the publisher also risks losing the least comfortable with the tool users.
After the solution from my point of view, it would be to integrated into the window switch for switching a basic mode to advanced mode. That way, at least, everyone will find his account.
If you’re interested, I made a focus on the Windows settings 10. It is at this address and I leave you with Video tour that I had at the time.
